The Cape Coral Stamp Club was founded in 1968 and is presently the only
stamp club in Lee County, Florida. It is the largest stamp club in southwest
Florida serving a tri-county area of Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties with
an active membership of approximately 65+ members. Members are from Marco
Island, Naples, Estero, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Lehigh, Venice, Port
Charlotte, Punta Corda, Cape Coral and include many seasonal members from all over
U.S. and Canada.
This club was chartered with AMERICAN PHILATELIC SOCIETY and FLORIDA
FEDERATION of STAMP CLUBS. It is non-profit and unincorporated with elected
Officers and Board of Directors.
The club meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Doors open at
6:00 PM with the meeting starting at 7:00 PM. Each meeting has a philatelic
program and, the members' favorite, a live auction with two auctioneers
presiding and where members can bring lots of stamps and philatelic items to
auction off at no cost to the sellers and at no risk. Members may bring up
to 3 lots to auction at each meeting. Auctions range from 35 to 85 lots.
It is a great opportunity for the beginner collector to add to their
collection and the seasoned collector to sell some of their duplicate stock.
Also, refreshments and door prizes at the meetings.
The meeting is held in the community room of the EPIPHANY EPISCOPAL CHURCH
located at 2507 S. Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Park in the rear of the
church and enter at the back doors. This is near Everest Parkway and the
mid-point bridge.
